Jim Denny has been photographing the birds of Hawaii for more than 25 years. His articles and images have appeared in many outstandig publications, including Audubon, Smithsonian, and National Geographic magazines.

Jim is the author of, The Birds of Kaua'i (Univ. of Hawai'i Press, 1999), and co-author of Hawaii's Butterflies & Moths (Mutual Press, 2002). His most recent work is a DVD entitled Hawaii Birds - A digital video documenting over 80 species of Hawaii's precious birds.
